Ghost,

This sounds an awful lot like a Sharps rifles. 50-110 is best understood
this way 50=the calibre, and 110 is the grains or load of powder for that
cartridge.  You can write the: Shilo Rifle Manufaturing Co; Po Box 279  Big
Timber, Montana  59011  or call them at 406-932-4454

The Quigley rifle featured in the movie "Quigley Down Under" is a 45-100
cal. The catalog Shilo puts out is very descriptive and if you desire to own
one of these, there is a 4 yr waiting list
