In
former days, when hobos were common, they had a shared vocabulary of
"hobo signs." They were chalked or scratched on pavements or fenceposts
in
front of houses, as advice to those who might follow. The smiling cat,
above,
meant "Kind-Hearted Woman." I'd like to think I'm a kind-hearted
woman; but I confess I was attracted to the sign because of the cat. (Visit High
Tech Hobo for more hobo signs.)
My name is Glenda
Moore. I live in Utah with my husband and our cats.
I
collect spun glass figures and seashells, pictures of whales and
dolphins,
clipper ship replicas, and so on, and have created a nautical
room in our house. Occasionally, I build dollhouses or miniature
rooms (and doll furniture) from scratch.
