You have only a brief moment with Legionaire Dorn before you
have to leave with the Centurion.
He moves with you toward the airlock access port, headed
for the modified Destroyer. His scarred face turns toward
you every now and again with a very inquisitive look, but he
never asks you any questions. You note that his facial
features are slightly askew from several brawls and hand-to-
hand combats. Somehow it is very conforting given your
current assignment.
You crawl the gangplank and promptly run into the Humma as
he abruptly stops 1/2 way up the transparisteel tube.
"Oompf! What the..."
" Legionaire, watch your tongue..." He turns toward the
aft (back) of the ship and smartly salutes. He looks for you
to do the same. You execute the movement and his face softens
...somewhat.
" That is a very old tradition among Spacefleet. Its roots
are grounded in a time I know nothing concerning, but the great
respect it demonstrates for crew and vessel are in return
respected. It is an outward sign of your own professionalism
and discipline."
Wow. That is the most you have heard from this Centurion
since your arival on AGRICOLON. His back is to
you now as he lithly hops/walks up the remainder of the gangplank.
After several minutes of wandering through the ship, you
finally arrive at the KNEIS-ENAU's infirmary.
Centurion SiasWing tells you to prep your medical gear and
bring it to the starboard crew compartment when done.
The anticeptic smell and Transparisteel particians were
exactly as you had expected. Several diagnostic beds and
one medical robot were located in the center of the bay.
Additionally, there was a bank of freeze field vaults along
one of the walls. All in all, a very modern shipboard hospital.
There was only a duty nurse in, but she explained to you
that the Chief Medical Officer would be on board later and
that you should check in with her as soon as possible. In
any event, she allows you to check out a large backpack med
kit with a diagnostic glove and a medi-cas. She also hands
you a small case of "extra" biocort and another of staydose
along with several compression bandages.
" I know you guys need these things more often than we do
sometimes. Get those guys up to us in one piece." Her concern
is genuine...but the exchange was a little discomfiting...
You manage to get all of your gear stowed inside the
MedPack for easy carrying. Moving through the corridors,
you finally locate the Legionaires quarters. Looking at your
chronocomm, you note that there isn't much time before the
Troop forms up in the cargo area. If you want your personal
supplies, you better move out!
***
AGRICOLON is small and you don't have much
hope of finding the herbs. It is worth the look though.
The upper two decks are the shops and stores. You head in
that direction.
As you enter the flow of people moving toward the lifttube,
you see Tak'ik Iss conversing with a yazarian in the orange
coveralls of a mechanical engineer of the House of the One.
Time is short, so you move on.
After an hours worth of searching you have found nothing
in the way of herbs that are what you desire. You did locate
some herbs that you like to wash your hair and longhairs with
on occasion. There was also a spectacular Yazarian formal
gown... Should you go back and get them?
Your chronocomm vibrates slightly on your left forearm and
you check the image.
" DeShaka, have you finished your tasks yet?" says the small
face of Legionaire Akahi. " If so we are at SPAC-IKS and
would enjoy the pleasure of your company."
He awaits your reply........

OK. You have completed your mission and are on the station what next?
You were unable to locate the herbs here. You still have all 500 Cr.
Some other shops on board. Unfortunately, you did not get to link up
with anyone yet for Med histories... Make a note of the new things
(MedPak, Diag glove, etc) on your character sheet!
