As you gaze out of the plasteel transperiport, the blue, white and
greens of Hentz (Araks) spin below you holding your eyes but not your
attention. In a strange mix of emotions (humor, pain, boredom, terror...),
your mind finishes it s wandering through the troubled past. How did I end
up here? What has gone so wrong?
Hentz continues to spin below.
AGRICOLON station is fairly small. Your troop mills about, awaiting your
Centurions and the rest of your mates. The Legion. The Legion is my only
home now. For now...for now.

Centurion Vit'atik finishes the roll report and has verified everyones
information with retna scan, digi print, and UNI-VIS. Finally, everyone is
on hand. There will be plenty of time later to get to know one another. For
now, the transperiport holds everyones attention.
Each of you realizes that your breathing is heavy as you watch the
Kneis-Enau maneuver toward the docking collar. One of the Fleet's oldest
operational atomic vessels, it has been modified so many times it no longer
resembles the "Avenger" class destroyer that it is. You are finally out of
training and out among the stars...
Maneuver thrusters fire randomly along its sleek polyhedronal and
cylindrical hull gently bringing it alongside the station.
"Attention all hands. Attention. Stand-by for docking sequence, number
six collar. Collision and damage control teams to posts. This is Station
Control, out."
You see light twinkling off the reflective hull and note the long deep
blue wedge that is embalzoned on each UPF Fleet vessel. Twin laser batteries
flank the UPF Nova seal - sparkling gold, silver and black device that
matches the one stenciled in black on your left breast torso armor.
"She is a fine looking ship," notes Lt. Birrkh.
She had better be. That ship was going to be home for 9 troop for the
next few months.
As you watch, several small "gnats" magnetically attach to the
Kneis-Enau and direct her toward the collar. You feel absolutely no
vibration as she comes alongside the station, completing the docking
sequence.
"Attention all hands. Attention. Stand down, docking complete. This
is Station Control, out."
Lt Birrkh leads you all down to the boarding entry port where a small
robot laser scans your UNI-VIS cards. There are several station personnel
moving about in various tasks, obviously preparing to reconstitute the
vessels stores.
The Lt looks at his two Centurions and says, "Centurion Vit'atik, head
down to the cargo bays and give a hand loading our equipment. Ensure the
weapons case is in easy access. Take Legionaire Sugg with you. I will be
down at 1800 hrs to inspect your work."
The Vrusk nods his head and cuffs the Dralasite next to him. "Let's
go." (The Lt pretends not to hear their curses as the two disappear into the
crowd.) He instead turns to his other Centurion and tasks him. "Centurion
SaisWing, secure our berthing quarters and supply them. Take Legionaire
DeShaka with you. Ensure she gets adequate stock for her medkits."
"Centurion Mi'naak, please take your crew to the dropship and load it in
the bay. Ensure all weapon systems are checked out and properly stored for
the ride. Oh, and make sure the fuel and rockets are loaded with the other
two cargo pods. I will want a report when I get down to the hold.
Questions?... No. Good, I will see you immediately after boarding."
The Lt then turns on his assembled troop. "OK Boyos - You've seen the
ship and been cleared access. You have three hours to do any last minute
personal requirements prior to assembly in our crew compartment at 1900 hrs."
With a wink and a grin he says, "I have your locators on - stay out of the
whore sector and watch the booze. No drugs - We will give a full bioscan
when you get back too. You go to the brig and I will space you myself!"
With that he turns his back on you and pulls out his datapad and begins
walking off...

Each of you has 500 CR (Legion pay from training - the rest went towards
food, clothing allowances, and purchase of certain gear. You spent the rest
at the bars..), no weapons as all are locked in the weapons locker for
transference to the hold.
You have three hours - What do you do?
