As the Lt disappears, the troop begins to mingle a little and try to find
out a little about one another. As this is a newly formed troop, each of you
have a lot to learn about his fellow Legionaires. Some are more interested
in talking than others... But that is expected in the Legion.
Blakhar is the first to try to break the ice " Any of ya's wanna get a game
of Jimp-deck goin at'ta bar? I heared that SPAC-IKS is pretty cool." His
head is bobbing the whole time as if answering his own interrogative.
" Nice try Ameboid. I don't think so. You can suck my thruster stick,
blob, I'm outta here."
Haur, the tall bulky human with merciless eyes turns and strides out of
the now loose formation and leaves the loading area. Each of you think to
yourselves that he is one that will need some very serious watching...
Legionaire Dorch seems uncomfortable and says so. " I think that id and
me should mosey on back to the QUICKDEATH, Blacky. Centurion Mi'naak may
need us to help - and id knows how that crazy lizard gets if we don't help."
Unfortunately, Blakhar agrees and the two courteously break away from the
group promising to talk later in the Legionaires quarters. The two of them
lope off toward the KNEIS-ENAU gangplank and begin to board.
The rest of the group begins to move toward the passageway and the lift
tube beyond. There is not much time, so all seem to be in a hurry to enjoy
the last hours of freedom before the shipboard routine becomes the normal
routine for a long time.

Legionaire Didtz'ik buys the first round. The Grogh is cold and rough
going down. Some of the group didn't quite make it to the second deck spacer
bar known as SPAC-IKS, but that doesnt matter. There will be plenty of time
for talking later.
The small circular table is jostled frequently by reveling spacers as they
move from table to table gambling and drinking. Several members of
Spacefleet are even here this evening. You all notice the KNEIS-ENAU crewmen
as they come in, their ships name embroidered strikingly on their finely kept
uniform at the top of the left arm sleeve. The place feels a little crowded,
but everyone decides that they can handle it. Besides, where else do you
have to go?
"...and there was once a small group of the indigs on Starmist, now they
are a hellashious lot to rile up! We went to the ship..." Didtz'ik chatters
and clicks on about some of the other places he has been and seen with the
Legion. The Vrusk seems pretty confident and self assured. "Dorn, isn't it
your turn to buy?"
Time is just flying.
Akahi looks a little green from the Grogh, but he appears to be enjoying
the company. Every now and then he whistles and hoots, making a baffled
music of his words - He also comes out with a nice song around the table of
Legion cadences. He excuses himself for a moment a disappears to the little
beings room.
There are now several mugs around the table and quite a bit of good food
has disappeared from the large portions the group originally bought.
" No more of this Grogh shit!" hollers Arimos. "Ale! Bring on the Ale!
Who's turn to buy?" He looks around and everyone is looking at him!
"Whoa..."
